omg i found this video on Youtube like a long time ago and it showed how to do skinny jeans. I tried doing what the video told me to do on my flare jeans. And it was SO EASY! My jeans looked great=D

    Hmm, good question.

take it to a tailor..thats wat my friends do
    i just buy new jeans

i’m sure there’s lots of low-cost tailors in your area. just get online and search for tailors. There’s a woman in my city who charges about $8 to modify jeans, and that’s a great deal to get the fit that you want. In two days, they can turn your 90s flare into an updated skinny leg look.

you could probably do it yourself too, just by flipping the jeans inside-out and sewing a new seam straight down the leg, leaving a little room for the knee but cutting out the flare. personally, i’m no good with needle and thread, so i let someone else do the work.

Well without doing any sewing, I wear boots up to my knees and tuck my jeans in. No one will ever know =)

I really don’t know but heres a thought.

Try cutting them to how skinny you want them and then just stitch the sides. I would reccomend pinching the sides in so it looks a little better.

Like I said I don’t know if this would work or not but just try it on one of the pairs.

Marlaine is right. A tailor would be your best bet. I tried to do something similar once and it didn’t work at all.

Firstly you either need a sewing machine, or you need to be ready to take some time to sew them yourself.
Turn the jeans inside out and starting about where your knee would be in the jeans draw a line straight down, flaring a bit at your feet if you want them to be easier to get on. And you might want to use a yardstick so its straight. Then sew along the line and cut off the extra denim.

  • Holzy:

gather the jeans at the bottom
    in the inside
then sew it together and cut the bits u dont want
