Starting high school in two weeks, tips please?

ok so I know this sounds like a stupid little dilemma but, I was wondering first which out fit you like better. I really want to make a good first impression.
Secondly I would really appreciate any tips. Anything from lunch to friends. Basically Do’s and don’ts.
My high school is pretty big since it has three different filter schools. My friends will be with me but, most of us had gone our separate ways over the summer. Thanks in advance!

I think both outfits are cute, but I’d go with the first. The second might be a little bit too much.
I still remember the outfit I wore on my first day of high school (which was only last year). It was something a little like this:

As for tips, I’d stay stick with the people you know for the first couple of days, because hardly anyone is out to make friends on the first day.
Make sure people know you can’t be intimidated from day one. This makes bullying less likely.
Don’t get a boyfriend for at least the first half of the year, better yet, don’t get a boyfriend at all in freshman year. Literally everyone I know who had a boyfriend last year got screwed over. It wont work out unless you knew the guy before high school. Just, trust me on this one.
Be positive about everything, and be enthusiastic, but don’t be eager.
Ask for help in class if you need it. Don’t be embarrased about it, because everyone there is new, and most of them probably need help too.
Don’t eat messy food. This girl Sierra Harding came to school on the first day and ate this huge messy sandwich. She ended up spilling it on herself, and she broke down in tears when people started taunting her.
Don’t turn down any potential friends. If someone who looks like they’re not the type of person you’d want to be friend with, give them a chance anyway. I though my best friend Nora looked much too smart to be my friend at first, but it worked out great.
Try to have female and male friends. It’s good to have a healthy balance.
Join clubs. They’re a good oppurtunity to feel more comfortable in school and to make friends.
As shallow as it sounds, appearance can be everything, so make sure you look presentable. It doesn’t really matter which brands you’re wearing (or no brands at all) as long as you don’t look scruffy.

hey dont worry im gonna start highschool too and im scared soo much.. but ill give u suggestions on wat to wear. skip kohls.. only buy jeans from kohls. other than that id like it. for shirts, try stores like EXPRESS, AMERICAN EAGLE, CHARLOTTE RUSSE, ZARA, MACYS, NORDSTROM, OSO MARTIN, BARNEYS NEW YORK, stuff like that, OTHER STORES LIKE GUCCI, BEBE (BEBE IS VERY CUTE) PINK BY VICTORIA SECRET!! THOSE ARE MY SUGGESTIONS THERE ARE MORE..
I’m going into the 10th grade. All I have to say is don’t trust anybody. Drama is everywhere. Have fun and get good grades.
